Velcorin® (Dimethyl Dicarbonate, DMDC, E242) is an antimicrobial stabilisation solution for non-alcoholic and alcoholic beverages.

It effectively protects the beverage against a wide range of microorganisms without impacting the sensory attributes of your product.

Velcorin® penetrates the cell and deactivates enzymes, leading to the destruction of microorganisms.

Once added, it rapidly breaks down into naturally occurring compounds (methanol and carbon dioxide) found in many beverages, ensuring:
